The newsletter contains valuable information on tree health issues, past and upcoming projects of our members in the 17 county area, tree events, and other topics of interest to the urban forestry community.

Would you like to contribute to this newsletter?

We want to hear about the exciting things that you are doing throughout Cross Timbers region and feature them in TreeNOTES, our quarterly newsletter. Here are 3 easy ways, you and/or the organizations you work with, can contribute:

1) send your favorite, personal TREE experience (climbing your favorite tree as a child, picking pecans, planting a tree when your child was born, building a tree house for your kids, resting in your hammock, etc…)
to:
Courtney Blevins. Selected entries will be printed in the upcoming issue of TreeNOTES.

2) e-mail your regional news. Please make these just a short paragraph or 2 (125-175 words ideal range) about an event that recently happened or is schedule to happen in your community. Include a picture if you have a good one.

3) Diversions and excursions…, the newsletter’s newest feature, needs your input! If you know of a destination in the Cross Timbers region that is either worth stopping by while in the area or would make a great day trip all on its own (state parks, etc), please e-mail submission to John. We especially want to share those really unique places in your area that might not be as well known throughout the rest of the region.

E-mail newsletter submissions to Courtney Blevins
