Increasing awareness in urban and community forestry

About Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council

Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council is a non-profit organization promoting urban forestry programs, education, and awareness in a 17-county region. The CTUFC is comprised of members drawn to the organization because of a love of trees and the role they play in our urban environment.

CTUFC is continually developing new programs to promote sound urban forestry practices. A variety of different programs are offered throughout the year, including the North Texas Urban Forestry Conference, Arbor Day, Mayfest Tree Booth, Citizen Foresters, and more.
